Intercompany Annual Basketball Tournament Held

An intercompany annual basketball tournament is currently ongoing and will run for five weeks from August 29 to September 26, 2008. The tournament does not only aim to enhance the physical fitness of the companies’ employees, but also aims to builds team work and cooperation. The tournament is participated in by the following companies:

• Certeza Infosys Corporation;
• Berkman International Incorporated;
• Berkman System Incorporated;
• Berkman Engineering and Detailing;
• Center for Environmental Studies and Management;
• Elarsi Incorporated;
• Levenson Asia Incorporated; and
• North Greenhills Association

This year’s tournament is hosted by Certeza Infosys Corporation. Four teams were organized this year to compete with each other. These are:

1. Condors – composed of players from Certeza Infosys Corporation, Berkman International Incorporated and Center for Environmental Studies and Management. The team captain of Condors is Odie Martirez while the team coach is Regie Sastre
2. Pirates – composed of players from Berkman Engineering Design and Detailing, as well as Levinson Incorporated. The team captain is Darcy  Farrar while the team coach is President and Owner of the Berkman International Holding, Mr. Raul Roberto E. De Guzman.
3. Fed-Ex – The team is composed of players from Berkman System, Incorporated and Elarsi Incorporated. The team captain is Sherwin Canales while the team coach Jay de las Alas. Team Manager is Mrs. Flora De Guzman.
4. MSTAD – The team is composed of players from Mariestad Corporation and North Greenhills Association. The team captain is Ferdie Qijieta while the team coach is Mr. Ricky E. De Guzman.

Games are held every Tuesdays and Fridays; First game is at 5:30 p.m. while the second game is at 7:00 p.m.
